 QS公布2012年世界大學分專業(yè)排行榜（QS_World_University_Rankings） |
史上最大規(guī)模的世界大學分專業(yè)排名 競爭愈演愈烈
London, 28th June 2012
2012年QS世界大學分專業(yè)排名為有史以來同類排名中規(guī)模最大的，今年有一些新的有實力的競爭者入圍了該排行榜。
今年的排名統(tǒng)計了高達29門專業(yè)，創(chuàng)歷史記錄。麻省理工大學和哈佛大學分別在11門專業(yè)上位居排行榜榜首。緊隨其后的是牛津大學（在3門專業(yè)上排名第一）、斯坦福大學（在3門專業(yè)上排名第一）和劍橋大學（在1門專業(yè)上排名第一）。不過，今年排名的主要看點不是傳統(tǒng)英美精英大學，而是其他大學的表現(xiàn)。
來自17個不同國家的大學至少在一門專業(yè)領域進入了排名前20強，這些國家分布在世界五大洲，包括美國、英國、澳大利亞、加拿大、瑞士、意大利、法國、德國、荷蘭、愛爾蘭、瑞典、中國、新加坡、香港、韓國、日本和巴西。工程、數(shù)學、化學和材料科學專業(yè)上的強校有四分之一來自亞洲。東京大學在土木工程專業(yè)排名世界第一，新加坡國立大學、北京大學、香港大學和東京大學均至少在一門專業(yè)上進入了世界前10強。

“亞洲、澳洲和歐洲部分地區(qū)的國家加大了研究支出，以促進創(chuàng)新，”John O’Leary說道，“特別是金磚國家，它們將高等教育視為經(jīng)濟增長計劃中的核心環(huán)節(jié)�！�
印度有兩所大學首次入圍工程專業(yè)前30強，中國的表現(xiàn)不容小覷，該國的大學在17個專業(yè)上入圍了世界大學排名前30強。巴西憑借圣保羅大學在今年的排行榜中嶄露頭角。圣保羅大學在6門專業(yè)上躋身世界大學排名前50強。
澳大利亞的大學在11門專業(yè)上進入了排名前10強。多倫多大學在加拿大過所大學中表現(xiàn)最佳，該校在5門專業(yè)上進入世界前5強。英國有13所大學至少在一門專業(yè)上排名進入前20強，不過這些學校中僅有三所大學排名最好的是科學和技術(shù)專業(yè)。

Ben Sowter
Sowter is the Head of Research at QS, QS Intelligence Unit. He holds a BSc in Computer Science from the University of Nottingham, where he was also awarded the Union Prize for outstanding contribution to the student union and served as chairman of the Nottingham University Debating Society. Ben is fully responsible for the operational management of all major QS research projects and is actively involved in all the collection, compilation and tabulation of all the data that lead to, amongst others, the World University Rankings research in which he has been involved since its initial inception in 2004. A frequent contributor to the press, Ben’s opinion on global education trends and his expertise is used regularly by major global publications. |
