開放移動終端平臺（Open Mobile Terminal Platform, OMTP）組織成立于2004年6月，是一家非牟利機構，總部位于倫敦，發(fā)起人包括沃達豐、Orange、T-Mobile、mmO2、西班牙的Telefonica、意大利電信（Telecom ItaliaMobile）和日本的NTT DoCoMo等8家全球主要移動網絡運營商。
手機設計參考建議
OMTP成立之初即計劃推出手機設計參考建議，以期對諾基亞、摩托羅拉、索尼愛立信等全球主要手機供應商產品作出規(guī)范和影響。自從2005年夏季提出第一個建議以來，OMTP已經面向設備管理（Device Management）、使用性（Usability）、安全及可信環(huán)境（Security and Trusted Environment）提出了20多個建議論文：
