互聯(lián)網(wǎng)媒體設(shè)備聯(lián)盟(Internet Media Device Alliance Inc,簡稱IMDA)成立于2009年,致力于制定和推廣一整套開放、可相互操作的標(biāo)準(zhǔn)和設(shè)備文件,使互聯(lián)網(wǎng)媒體設(shè)備在全球消費(fèi)市場(chǎng)中獲得最大的發(fā)展。其指導(dǎo)委員會(huì)和成員包括全球領(lǐng)先的流媒體廠商,例如Awox、BBC、德國之聲(Deutsche Welle)、歐洲廣播聯(lián)盟(the European Broadcasting Union)、Frontier Silicon、Global Radio、Pure、Reciva、SWR和vTuner。
為實(shí)現(xiàn)使命,IMDA開展了兩大核心活動(dòng):
(1)定義一系列端對(duì)端技術(shù)標(biāo)準(zhǔn)、功能和文件,促進(jìn)在一致性的基礎(chǔ)上開發(fā)各種引人矚目的互聯(lián)網(wǎng)主流媒體設(shè)備,同時(shí)支持制造商和廣播公司的均衡差異化。
(2)為成員組織提供企業(yè)對(duì)企業(yè)的營銷支持,向消費(fèi)者、潛在的成員和零售商推廣互聯(lián)網(wǎng)設(shè)備的概念。
