Car Connectivity Consortium members are among the world’s leading automotive, mobile communications and consumer electronics industry companies including Alpine, BT Software and Research, Clarion Co. Membership types
Charter member have all rights, are eligible to decision-making as well as have representation in the board of directors. Consortium will have limited amount of charter members. Charter level membership requires approval of the board of directors.
Core member have access to specifications under development and they can join to work groups. There is no limit for core members.
Adopter have access to all releases of specifications available via Internet, but do not have access to work groups.There is no limit for adopters.
Advisors are organizations, like governments and universities. They can get specifications by signing Consortium NDA (will be added later) and can be invited to workgroup meetings. There is no limit for advisors.
